Dance my puppets, dance! Analog Orange controls all, even the knife!
~ Analog Orange during Worst Knifemare)
I do not rot, I do not decay, I AM FOREVER!
~ Analog Orange during Dimension VHS's last segment, which would later become a well-known quote of Shocktober 2024)

Analog Orange (also known as Amazing Grace Orange and Analog Annoying Orange or Analog Horror Orange and mistakenly known by some fans as just Orange) was the overarching antagonist of Annoying Orange, serving as the main antagonist of The Analog Orange Saga. He is the demon, arch-nemesis, and evil counterpart of the Annoying Orange, who he trapped in the VHS dimension. He first appeared in Analog Horror Annoying Orange. He was a clone in the warehouse until it was his turn to be in this world, he trapped the real Orange in a jar and hid the 7 Orcruxes.

Appearance[]

Analog Orange appears as our normal annoying, obnoxious talking Orange, except his teeth are now spiky and sharp. He is also often seen with an enlarged smile and bigger eyes at the thumbnails most of the time.

Personality[]

i am the one true orange.
~ Analog Orange (During the Kitchen is Empty...

As his facade, he acts exactly like the Orange we all know and tolerate, albeit his behavior is more unusual than normal. But at his core, Analog Orange is the complete polar opposite compared to Orange. Instead of being a jovial, yet annoying and obnoxious fruit, this orange is purely evil, sadistic, monstrous, heartless, and overall cruel. He has quite the horrific tendencies to him, displaying unnerving qualities. He often says that he controls everything in the kitchen, the knife, and even EVERYTHING in the world. He shown no signs of redemption when he declared he loves being evil and will never stop being evil.

Relationships[]

You will join them soon enough.
~ Analog Orange

Grapefruit[]

Grapefruit is portrayed as one of Analog Orange's main pawns and or victims as seen in Grapefruit's old Voice. A main example of the unnerving quantities that Analog Orange displays on Grapefruit is in Dark Mystery of Analog Orange, where Grapefruit walks into some of the portals where he gets burned twice, has his face manipulated, and even gets covered in his black goo dripped on him.

The biggest example is in A Supercut of good times with my friend Grapefruit. Rather than being your normal Supercut of multiple episodes, it is instead a supercut of clips showing Grapefruit getting tortured over and over again for over a minute.

Pear[]

In Ask Orange 93: What's Wrong with Orange?!, Pear found Analog Orange hesitating to blow a huge pound of TNT out of character for "Orange", with the latter instead dropping the entire pound so hard that Pear got squashed. Pear later found Analog Orange "devouring" Lego pieces, which he found disturbing. When discussing "Orange's" recent behavior with Little Apple and Marshmallow, he states that he does not know why the current Orange is too much of a terrifying imposter, but they should be careful until they discover the truth.

When Analog Orange startles them and asks what they are doing behind the toaster, Pear then "lies" to him by saying that they are practicing a dance. Analog Orange then says that he has some dance moves himself, to which Pear then asks if he would be willing to not show them. Analog Orange then says that he will miss Pear the most before showing his favorite dance move, the Face Slime. He then shapeshifts his face to be filled with possible green slime that then freaks the trio out.

Analog Orange later responded to Pear and Little Apple's assumption that saving Passion from being killed by Knife meant the real Orange could still be in there by puking black ink onto them. Over the next several episodes, Pear begins collecting evidence as to how to stop Analog Orange and save the real Orange.

Little Apple[]

In Ask Orange #93, Little Apple shared Pear's suspicions about "Orange's" recent and disturbing behavior. While gathering behind the toaster along with Marshmallow, Little Apple believes that Analog Orange counting to 1,000,000,000 will distract him long enough to talk about how "Orange" is acting differently.

Little Apple found the earlier horror dream sequence a confusing thing to show on an episode of Ask Orange, as Shocktober was supposed to be over. He then told Pear to keep his voice down and checked to see that "Orange" was still distracted counting. When Pear explained how "Orange" hesitated to blow up a big box full of TNT, Little Apple was shocked because not blowing up TNT was out of character for Orange.

When Analog Orange startles them and asks what they are doing behind the toaster, Little Apple "lies" to him by saying that they are practicing a dance. Analog Orange then says that he has some dance moves himself before showing them his favorite dance move, the Face Slime. He then shapeshifts his face to be filled with possible green slime that then freaks the trio out.

Analog Orange later responded to Pear and Little Apple's assumption that saving Passion from being killed by Knife meant the real Orange could still be in there by puking black ink onto them.

Marshmallow[]

In Ask Orange #93, Marshmallow initially believed Analog Orange was the same as the real Orange because he was playing with Lego pieces until Pear corrected them by saying "Orange" was disturbingly eating them. When Pear explained how "Orange" hesitated to blow up a big box full of TNT, a shocked Marshmallow asked who this imposter was and what had he done to the real Orange. Pear replied that they needed to be careful until they could figure this all out.

When Analog Orange startles them and asks what they are doing behind the toaster, Pear then "lies" to him by saying that they were practicing a dance. Marshmallow tried selling the lie by saying that they love dancing and leaping in the air in a cheery "Yay!". Analog Orange then says that he has some dance moves himself before showing them his favorite dance move, the Face Slime. He then shapeshifts his face to be filled with possible green slime that then freaks the trio out.

Apple[]

In his first appearance, Analog Orange switched between his normal form and his "Orange" disguise while conversing with Apple in a recreation of the very first Annoying Orange episode.

Passion[]

In Ask Orange #93, Passion was about to be knifed before Analog Orange stopped the person and commanded him to leave and apologize to her, which he then did. Overhearing Pear and Little Apple talking about how saving Passion means that the real Orange is in there somewhere, he responded by puking black ink onto them. This implies that while he does not genuinely love Passion, he only keeps her alive so he can torture her himself. It's later confirmed in Annoying Orange: Orcrux #3 the Warehouse that she's one of the seven Orcruxes and killing her along with the other 6 would strip Analog Orange of his immortality.

Analog Pear[]

He only appeared in Analog Horror Annoying Orange, Analog Orange called out to Analog Pear shortly after Apple's death. Peering his head out from a portal to the Underworld, Analog Pear told Analog Orange to not disturb him while he was busy devouring souls.

Dancing Hippos[]

In Analog Horror Ask Orange, Analog Orange was shown to share the real Orange's fear of dancing purple hippos.

Powers/Abilities[]

Analog Orange can vomit out darkness, fruit-eating bees, and a black horror-inducing fog.

In "Scare Pear #1", it is confirmed that Analog Orange can mutilate himself painlessly by melting into a hideous and scary creature that exceeds human comprehension. He can even cover others in black eldritch goo.

In "i am forever", Analog Orange claims that he has transcended, and it is indicated from this that has the power of immortality, stating that he does not rot or decay which most oranges decay after at least 153 days or so and the ability is shared with the main cast of the show.

In "Ask Orange #93", Analog Orange has really been in the kitchen for 2,963 days, which leads to the date of October 5th, 2016.[1]

Trivia[]

  • His "Amazing Grace" form is inspired by a video created by FrogeMan350 and named after the song "Amazing Grace" that plays in the background. However, this design has stylistic differences, namely hole-like eyes and a mouth filled with worms with cracks surrounding the edges to give the essence of true nightmare fuel.
  • Analog Orange having been around since October 5th, 2016 could be a key point in the Analog Orange arc's tie-in ARG. However, this is currently unknown.
  • Analog Orange saving Passion from Knife foreshadowed that she is one of the seven Orcruxes.
  • It was revealed that Analog Orange gained his powers and abilities by killing other fruits, gaining all their talents, skills, knowledge, powers. But gained the ultimate, god-like power after he killed their creator, Dane Boe.
