Captain Blood Orange is the second episode in the Annoying Orange TV series.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Orange and his friends pretending to be pirates onboard their cart, which has been converted into a pirate frigate. Orange tries to make Apple walk the plank for the "crime of being an apple", but he is unintentionally rescued by a ship controlled by Elm Tomato, the leader of a vegetable naval fleet (which were converted from shopping carts). The vegetables (Heirloom Tomato, Arugula and Endive) make it clear that Orange and his crew are to leave, as the vegetables intend to use their aisle for their sailing regatta. Orange, not one for being friendly, ends up fighting with the vegetables; sadly, his cannons and their grape cannonballs have little effect, as the vegetables have the fruits beaten in both numbers and firepower, as the vegetables attack their ship/cart with a massive cannon that fires shallots as quickly as a machine gun can shoot bullets.
With their cart severely damaged, Orange and crew end up crash-landing in corn cob territory. Soon, a group of corn colonists notice them and demand that they see their leader- an old, white piece of corn known as Malacorn. Upon reaching Malacorn, the elderly cob tells Orange and his friends about the mysterious creature called "He Who Comes During Nightshift" (or HWCDN for short), who leaves the corn alone in exchange for a sacrifice of fruit and how Orange and his friends are the latest tributes for HWCDN. Though the fruits run, they are soon captured and sacrificed. Believing that they will die, the fruits confess secrets, but they are saved, as the creature turns out to be Nerville, who merely returns the fruit to their proper spots and who was only growling because he was hungry (it was his stomach making the growls).
After giving Nerville a pile of corn chunks to satisfy his hunger, Nerville and the fruits capture the corn cobs. Since it is clear that they can't leave the corn or else they'll keep sacrificing innocent fruits, Orange decides to use them as ammunition. When the privateers return, Orange and his crew (along with a repaired cart equipped with bigger cannons) fire at the pirates, who end up defeated and sink (despite the fact that there is no water).
