April O'Peel was a reporter for Channel 6 News. She reported that a radioactive Slurpee caused a block of cheese known as The Cheddar to become a seemingly unstoppable force of evil. This prompted the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turnips to the surface and stop him. After they defeated him, April went to congratulate them on rescuing the city. Raphael then told her that it was a "pizza cake". Michalangelo then chimed in with his new catchphrase: "ringtailedlemurbunga", which upset Leonardo.
