Bruce Dillus was the secondary protagonist of the episode Armagourdon. Orange, Pear, Midget Apple, Passion Fruit and Grandpa Apple came to Bruce Dillus and his fellow pickles for help to stop an asteroid that was hurling towards Daneboe's Grocery Market. At first, Bruce doubted them, until he realized the asteroid's effect on the Earth's tide. He then transformed the fruit cart into a space shuttle and created explosoves using Diet C-C-Cola, Mintons, and other unknown ingredients. As soon as they landed on the asteroid, Bruce used the fruit cart to drill the hole in the asteroid and fill it with explosives. Bruce than stated that he has forgotten to bring a cap, and that someone would have to stay behind to fill the hole. Passion Fruit was picked, but Orange insisted to take her place. Bruce Dillus, despite being a tough pickle who thought emotions made people "soft", has proven to actually have emotions himself. So he took Orange's place, and ended up causing the asteroid to explode, saving the Daneboe's Grocery Market.
