Cabbage is the titular main antagonist of the Annoying Orange episode of the same name. Orange noticeably loses his mojo, and can't make fun of anyone. He tries to annoy Celery but fails to do so, as he's worried that Celery will die just like all the other foods he meets. Cabbage helps Orange by making fun of Celery and Onion, inspiring Orange to do his usual thing. Unfortunately for Cabbage, his plan backfires on him, as he then also gets annoyed by Orange, with Onion and Celery laughing in the background. Cabbage is then violently knifed by Dane shortly after. This makes Orange depressed once again. Onion tells him that nobody ever really knows when they're going to die. He immediately also gets knifed after that, proving his point. Cabbage reappeared in Annoying Ways To Die, being crushed by an anvil, twice. Cabbage has made multiple appearances since then as a background character.
Trivia
- This is the second time someone other than Orange made fun of someone else. This is the first time this role didn't belong to an orange.
- Cabbage is one of the few characters who are at least somewhat friendly to Orange's antics.
- He is the second character Orange mourned over after their death, preceded by Apple iPhone and followed by Cucumber.
- He is the fourth annoying character in the Annoying Orange series (the first one being Orange).
- He is one of the few characters who made the most cameos, the second one being Pineapple.
- One of his jokes to get back Orange to his normal attitude is a reference to Mater's Tall Tales. Here's proof: Cabbage said to Onion, "OOH! If I'm lying, then you're crying!"
