Celery is a supporting character of The Annoying Orange series. He is first seen in Excess Cabbage talking to the other stalks. Orange then interrupts in an attempt to annoy them, but then falls into a depression. However, he was cheered up by Cabbage later on. Unfortunately for Cabbage, his plan backfires when Orange begins annoying him with Celery and Onion laughing in the background. However, Cabbage and Onion eventually get knifed. Celery later appears in Best Fiends Forever, actually being annoyed by a more positive Orange (considering it had been almost a year after Orange fell into his depression). However, Grapefruit moves in on the same day and starts annoying both Orange, Celery, and even Midget Apple. Although he wasn't getting on Marshmallow's nerves until he had burned his picture of Princess Butterfly Kiss. This caused Marshmallow to throw a huge tantrum, which resulted in a big explosion that knocked Grapefruit through the roof, killed Celery and almost killed Orange. After the explosion, however, Marshmallow acted as if nothing had happened. Celery has been mysteriously revived multiple times and has made many appearances since then as a background character.
Characterization
Celery is a stalk of celery that has seven stalks. Only four of those stalks have faces, it is possible the other three are facing the other way. In Best Friends Forever only the front of the Celery group ever talks. Celery appears to have a British accent. He likes to brag about his life.
Trivia
- He is the first character who is one fruit or vegetable but has many heads to talk with.
- He is the second character with a foreign accent in the series (the first one being Soccer Ball).
