Coal was the main antagonist of the episode "Coal For Christmas". He was introduced barging into the kitchen and knocking Midget Apple out the way while Orange was dressed as Santa and immediately caused trouble, insulting everyone and wrecking decorations. He claimed he drank five Zooms and started destroying everything in sight, declaring he wanted to headline the naughty list. He ignored warnings from others and caused more chaos, refusing to calm down. When questioned about his behavior, his parents arrived and revealed they were just as wild, stating they were on an all-Zoom diet. Orange tried calling their parent's parents, leading to the arrival of Grandpa Coal, but he also joined in after drinking Zoom. After tipping over the Christmas tree with his family, Coal was flattened underneath it. When he stood back up, he had transformed into a diamond and bragged about being indestructible. He claimed he could now drink all the Zoom he wanted and do whatever he liked. However, he was squashed again by Squash, leading to his death.
