Grandpa Lemon

Grandpa Lemon (who was used to be known simply as Lemon, Old Lemon or Benjamin Franklemon) is one of the main characters in the Annoying Orange series. He is depicted as an old, forgetful anthropomorphic lemon. He is prone to fall asleep often, usually in crucial times, and is often forgetful, much to everyone else's annoyance, even Orange's. He is over 2 centuries old, preserved by his lemon juice and his intense passion for older women (according to The Founding Fruits). As seen in Ask Orange 66, he has 34 grandchildren with faces that look a lot like the main characters such as Orange, Pear, Midget Apple, Marshmallow, and even Grandpa Lemon himself.

Grandpa Lemon is one of the three main characters who have been knifed but revived later in the Annoying Orange series (the other two being Grapefruit and Apple). He is a founding father of The United Fruits of Amerifruit. He used to go by the name of Bejamin Franklemon, and it is revealed in Founding Fruits that he is over 200 years old. He was first appeared on Friday, June 4, 2010 in the Annoying Orange episode Grandpa Lemon, where he and Orange were having a very odd conversation. Orange was trying desperately to annoy Grandpa Lemon, however all of his attempts failed, due to Grandpa Lemon's bad hearing and his sleeping disorder (which is so severe that he even fell asleep while getting knifed). Grandpa Lemon also has short-term memory loss (as revealed when he forgot Orange's name after getting juiced).

Grandpa Lemon was revived in Friday, October 29, 2010 as he, along with many other fruits and vegetables, were put together in order to form a creature known as Frankenfruit. Frankenfruit was controlled by Grapefruit for the sole purpose of getting his revenge on Orange, for "stealing" Passion Fruit and causing him to get knifed. However, Grapefruit's attempt for this failed due to the Halloweenie eating most of Frankenfruit. Grandpa Lemon was one of the three foods who were confirmed to survive the blow (the others being Grapefruit and Midget Pumpkin). Since then, Grandpa Lemon has lived in the kitchen unharmed. As usual, he falls asleep, usually during crucial times (like being knifed in his debut) and has moments where he usually forgets things. He had also purchased a motorcycle which he still uses despite his advanced. He, along with the rest of the gang, still finds time to go to the Fruit Cart with Nerville and some other fruits. During early 2014, Grandpa Lemon has moved out of retirement and landed a talk show known as Grinds My Rind, a show where he shares the downsides of modern technology. This can be seen on his own Youtube Channel.

Grandma Lime

She used to be his friend, and Grandpa Lemon thinks of her as attractive, but since Grandpa Lemon accidentally texted her a message with an innuendo, she is now flirting with him.

Marilyn Monroe

Believe it or not, in Episode 9 of The Juice, Grandpa Lemon says that he was in Love with Marilyn Monroe. When they parted ways, Marilyn asked for his phone number. He wrote it on her palm but it was sweaty. Grandpa Lemon wrote "Klondike 531" but the 1 got smudged into a 7. Marilyn left before he could correct the mistake. And somehow, Joe DiMaggio had the phone number "Klondike 537" so Marilyn married him instead. Its still unknown if any of this is true.

Motorcycle

Grandpa Lemon has a motorcycle that appeared in several episodes of The Annoying Orange. As noted on his Facebook page, he used this vehicle in his career as a young lemon. He appears to be skilled at riding it, even in his old age. This is notable, as Grandpa Lemon is usually slow and falls asleep quickly with any other task.

Trivia

He is the first character to not scream while getting cut in half by Knife.
When he was getting cut by Knife, he only said "Ouch" on the first cut then fell asleep.
He is the second character to be knifed and juiced in the same episode, the first character being Other Orange.
Grandpa Lemon is one of the few people capable of annoying Orange, by falling asleep and forgetting about Orange's jokes.
Although he got cut by Knife, he still appeared in "Wishful Thinking" because he was resurrected and bought back to life into Frankenfruit, and along with Grapefruit and Midget Pumpkin, he survived the Halloweenie attack as well.
Grandpa Lemon is the first character to fall asleep in the Annoying Orange series. However, he is the second character introduced to fall asleep; the first one was Orange.
He is the third lemon to appear into a "Wazzup!" episode.
In current episodes onwards, he now has facial hair due to Brueck's aging.
He is also the third lemon in the Annoying Orange series. The first one was Lemon.
He is also seen to ride many different types of vehicles.
Grandpa Lemon's favorite hobbies are mostly sleeping including the Nickelback's concert.
In "Ask Orange 12", Orange states that he can't rap, but in Orange Say Knock You Out, he is shown to rap.
He is the oldest main character in the series.
He opened for Hootie & the Blowfish.
Grandpa Lemon claims to have met Marilyn Monroe in "THE JUICE #9" when asked where he would go if time travel was possible.
