Hay-Apple is the titular character of the Annoying Orange episode "Hay Apple!". He is first seen appearing after Orange repeatedly yells "Hay Apple!", which annoys Apple due to the similarity to "Hey Apple". After this, Orange reassures him, saying that he wants "Hay-Apple". This is where Hay-Apple appears, where he explains that he’s an apple made of hay, acting as a scarecrow to keep crows away from Nacho Cheese after she lost her lid. Throughout the episode, Hay-Apple shouts to scare away any crows that fly near Nacho Cheese, while Apple gets mad at the confusion being caused. Near the end of the episode, Orange tries to warn everyone about an incoming shoe, but his phrasing causes confusion. A giant shoe eventually crushes Hay-Apple, Nacho Cheese, and Apple all at once.
