Orange 2.0 is the "replacement" of Orange in Annoying Orange 2.0!!!. He was introduced as a character portrayed by Tom Cruise, and was the new lead protagonist and "annoying orange". He, however, along with the rest of the AO 2.0 cast, was crushed by their advertising sign.

- When Midget Apple tells him to stop saying the joke, "It's ice to meet you," Tom Cruise tells Midget Apple to call him Maverick. This is a reference to Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, who was a character in the film Top Gun portrayed by Tom Cruise.
