Pine Apple is a crossbreed between a pine tree and an apple. He has only appeared in the Annoying Orange episode "Random Cuts #01". He was seen as a joke filler for the name "pineapple", the name of a tropical plant with edible multiple fruit consisting of coalesced berries, and that is also the most economically significant plant in the Bromeliaceae family. He was explaining to Dr. Potato how his parents thought he was going to be a pineapple, but he instead turned out to be a strange, new hybrid fruit if a pinecone and an apple.
