String Cheese was the main subject of the episode String Cheese Incident. Pear was trying to take a group picture with Orange, Midget Apple, and Grapefruit when String Cheese came in and photobombed the picture. String Cheese appeared to be a so peppy that it seemed strange to everyone except Orange. He kept commenting Midget Apple on things he wasn't wearing (examples being shoes, hair, etc.) and told everyone that if they think positively, good things would happen. Ironically, after he had said that, a strip of him was ripped off by Dane Boedigheimer. String Cheese was able to overlook this and continued being his overly-joyful self, until another strip of him was torn off. At this point, String Cheese started to become depressed, but quickly forced himself to snap out of it. Seconds after, however, he was grated. While everyone else was relieved, Orange felt kind of sad. But he attempted to continue String Cheese's legacy by commenting on Midget Apple's "shoes" and "hair".
