Turnip is a character who only appeared in Annoying Pear. Pear was supposed to annoy Turnip, but the things Pear thought was annoying actually made him cry, so the sick Orange had to make his classic annoying noise to make him laugh. He did not die in the episode as Fat Radish got hurt by Knife instead of him, but he watched as Fat Radish was stabbed by Knife in horror. He presumably forgave Pear after the episode.
